fossils
These fossils were once under the sea. We saw these fossil on our hike around the Grand Canyon. It was so much fun.
River trip
βOn the trip we went on boats down the river Colorado. It was named this becuase the water was so muddy and thats what colorado means. On this trip we saw many things like waterfalls, addits, cool designs on the walls, wirlpools, and much much more. The Colorado's water has been much cleaner thanks to the Glen Canyon Dam. This trip was lots of fun and we learned alot. We learned that in this river the walls of the canyon could get up to 4000 ft hight. The water also has cut throught the canyon that in some places the water is around a mile deep. While we were riding on the boats we stopped at a sand bar and we got off the boats and hiked very short and we came to pictographs which are pictures carved into the walls by natives.
